What are you lookin' at?

Popping on the proverbial rose-colored glasses, tints the world in a hazy, but cheerful shade.  It’s a dreamy, flower child, tiptoeing-through-the-tulips, with the wind blowing your hair outlook.   I wear those aviators frequently.   Every so often, I want something catawampus.  That’s when I decide to don the lesser known fisheye-goggles.

Sporting these beauties warps your world view.  Everything takes on a bubbly, distorted, looped appearance.  Tipping your head around creates tracers only previously experienced by trippers.  Cool stuff without the druggy side effects.  Catch a quick glimpse of what I’m talking about by taking a “selfie” with your phone.  Check out how contorted your face appears.  That’s what I’m talking about, the world with fisheye-googles!

Ok, squashing all insanely outrageous ideas, sometimes I need to put on some silliness.  Laughter and lightheartedness eases the drudgery of day-to-day stuff.  Dressing up in various lenses gives me a different panorama.  Some days call for the deepest dark shades to hide the soul, while others clamor for something that Elton John would be proud to wear.  At times, we need to warp, twist and change our mindset to refresh our opinion, sensibility and demeanor.  Ouch, can you say attitude adjustment?
